Hoops Stars Basketball
WHAT: A highly instructional, fun-oriented introductory basketball program for children in Preschool-grade 2. Players are taught the basics of dribbling, passing, shooting, positioning, defense, and rebounding.
WHEN:
- Thursdays, 4/6-5/11
- Little Hoops (Preschool—Kindergarten) 5:30PM-6:30PM
- Hoop Stars (grade 1-2) 6:30PM-7:30PM
WHERE: Broadview Heights Community and Recreation Center Auxiliary Gym.
Hummingbirds Soccer
WHAT: Children age 3 - 6 years old will learn the basics of soccer: dribbling, passing, trapping, shooting, and positioning. Each session consists of instruction in each aspect of the game and low-key, non-competitive games. All teams will receive a schedule.

- Saturdays, 4/15-5/20 (Field Area A)
- Saturdays, 6/17-7/29 (no class 7/1) (Football Field)
- 3 & 4 years old 1:00PM-2:00PM
- 5 & 6 years old 2:00PM-3:00PM

Summer Sports Camps
Ultimate Warrior—6/5-6/9- Join us for fitness, fun, and “Survivor” type team challengers! Age Appropriate and safe activities specifically designed to challenge, inspire, and excite. Games and tasks this week include obstacle courses, relays, tug of war, and many other fun activities designed to teach cooperation and teamwork while also developing self esteem.
World Cup Soccer— 6/12-6/16 -Players learn foot skills, passing, shooting, goal keeping, and team concepts. Each day, we will play fun, small sided games as well as individual competitions. As always, teamwork and sportsmanship is emphasized. Each player will pick their country and make their own pennant and tee shirt.
All American Sports— 6/19-6/23 –Campers celebrate our nation's upcoming birthday playing popular games loved in the USA! Sports include football/cheerleading, soccer, Ultimate Frisbee, and more. The focus will be on fun drills and recreational game play with fun competition in each sport.
Survivor Camp—7/10-7/14 -All the fun of the TV show without getting “voted out”. Campers are divided into “tribes” and compete in fun team challenges and races each day. Hidden idols, secret advantages, race ending puzzles will all be a part of the fun!
Olympics Camp— 7/17-7/21 -Children are grouped by age and divided into countries to learn about and compete in all types of Olympic sports! Campers also learn about the culture and history of their adopted country and make a flag to carry during the "Closing Ceremonies" and "Presentation of Medals".
Cheer Camp— 7/24-7/28 -Learn a variety of cheers, jumps, kicks and movements. We’ll also play fun cheerleading games and decorate crazy uniforms to wear at an exhibition on the last day of camp. Staff coaches are experienced cheerleaders who have run and attended many of our cheer camps.
All Pro Football Camp— 7/24-7/28 -Camp will teach campers the basic fundamentals of football in an atmosphere that emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork and the joy of sports. This program is ideal for children of all skills and backgrounds. In addition to learning fundamentals, techniques and strategies of the sport, campers will participate in flag football games every day as well as fun games and contests such as “Punt, Pass, and Kick” and “NFL Fast Football”.

FEES: 1 Week Camp—$130/week, 3-5 weeks—$110/week, All 6 weeks—$100/week
