Mayor's 5K and 1 Mile Walk

This is a special event for the whole family in conjunction with the Broadview Heights “Home Days” and Hermes Sports and Events.  Race begins and ends at the Broadview Heights Community and Recreation Center: 9543 Broadview Road, Broadview Heights, OH 44147. Refreshments of fruit and water will be available at the finish line. Race day t-shirts are guaranteed for the first 200 participants, free on-site parking and refreshments will also be provided for walkers and runners at the finish line. All participants will receive a free alcoholic beverage provided by Broadview Brewing Company (21 and over) or sports drink. 

We'd like to remind everyone to leave your 4 legged family members at home. 

RACE DAY - THURSDAY JULY 9, 2026

START TIME
6:00 P.M. - Race-day registration
7:00 P.M. - 5K Run (B-tag chip timing, 3.1 miles) and 1 Mile Walk/Run

TIMING
5K Chip Timed

1 Mile untimed

FEES
 $25 on or before July 8th at 9am or $30 afterwards.

Family Rate: $23/person.

* Must be three or more people living at the same address

5K racers finishing in the top person in each age group (male & female): 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 & over.
