Nights In The Heights

The Nights in the Heights Summer Concert Series are held the first Friday of each month starting June through September from 7-10PM.  All concerts will take place rain or shine at the City Amphitheater located at the Broadview Heights Community and Recreation Center grounds. There will be plenty of free parking and food and adult beverages will be available for purchase. Each concert event will have a car ‘Cruise-In’ hosted by Next Level Auto Detailing.  Questions about the concert or sponsorship opportunities may be directed to Lisa in the Mayor’s Office at 440-526-3651.  Call Shawn Medina at (440-476-9282) for information about the Cruise-In. The concerts are free and open to the public.

Free Summer Band Concert and Ice Cream Social 

Monday, June 8th at 7PM, Broadview Center Amphitheater. Hosted by  the City of Broadview Heights. Featuring the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Community Band. Information: 440-526-4357.

Outdoor Movie Night

Saturday, August 1st- Frozen 2 (PG)

In the event of inclement weather, check our Facebook page for updates @bhrec.  Pre-Movie activities begin at 7pm, movie begins at dark.  Bring your blankets and/or camp chairs and join us for a night under the stars!  Concession stand will be open!  No alcoholic beverages permitted. All children must be supervised by an adult.

Community Garage Sale

The City of Broadview Heights will be hosting a city-wide garage sale on Saturday, September 12th from 8AM until 5PM, rain or shine. Residents who cannot have the sale at their home may reserve space at the Broadview Heights Community and Recreation Center on the parking lot by the Amphitheater from 9:00AM-2:00PM. Max 25 vehicles.

Section 1 - Garage Sale at Recreation Center.  Fees Include: Publicity in the local papers, website, electronic sign, the mayor’s weekly email, Facebook, and signs at the Broadview Heights Community and Recreation Center. Participants will receive two parking spaces in the parking lot, one to park and one to sell their items (participants must provide their own tables/tents). No weapons, explosives or alcohol are allowed. All sales are final.

Section 2 - Garage Sale at Home. Broadview Heights Residents only

Fees Include: Publicity in the local papers & the internet, Garage Sale Permit, & signs throughout the City. A downloadable listing of garage sale addresses plus a brief summary of sale items posted on the city website will be available at the Broadview Heights Community and Recreation Center front desk. If applicable, it is your responsibility to make sure your Association allows garage sales in your neighborhood. Signs will be placed at the top of the street entrances only, participants are encouraged to add additional signs in front of their homes.
