Instructor: Connie King

Connie has over forty years of training, teaching, and competitive experience. She has been privileged to receive her training from the world's finest coaches from England, Australia, Germany, Denmark, Norway, and America. Now she brings all of her skills to the Broadview Heights Recreation Center.

Attire: Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy movement. Avoid tight, restrictive clothing. Since your shoes should not have traction, opt for leather, felt, or smooth-soled shoes. Remember to bring a clean, dry pair of shoes for the lessons. For more information, please get in touch with Catherine Spera at cspera@broadview-heights.org

Partners are recommended, but not required. Partner rotation is mandatory.

Ballroom Dance Beginner/Intermediate

This class will refresh your memory of the basics and expand your repertoire of steps, turns, leads, and follows. Everything you learn will come together into a complete routine you can use in social situations. This class will make you look and feel like an accomplished dancer. Taking the Ballroom Beginner class is strongly recommended as a prerequisite and warm-up. I frequently use my beginner class as a warm-up for this level.
