Moody's Investor Services (the largest U.S. and international credit, financial research, and bond rating agency) upgraded the bond rating of the City of Broadview Heights from A1 to Aa2. Moody's reviews not only current financial data but also data of the last few years. Their review found "healthy financial operations expected to continue due to demonstrated prudent management."

This is important for two reasons. First and most important, this means interest rate savings for our residents on bond costs. Secondly, it demonstrates to the public that the finances of our city are well run according to unbiased professional financial experts.
