Practices start in the beginning of May and run until the season starts, usually the last week of May. In general teams will have one weekday practice and one weekend practice in May.
There are no additional practices once games begin.
Specific game days by league will be determined after registration ends and it is determined how many teams we have in each league and which leagues we will be playing in. Most games take place during the week.
You need to first register in the age appropriate league then submit a league change form.
After the registration deadline, we will review and either accept or deny the change. If your request is denied, you can receive a refund on your registration fee if you choose.
League changes are only accepted based on the skill level of the player or to play with kids in his or her own grade. We do not allow league changes so players can play with siblings, play for a particular team, for ride sharing purposes or convenience.
Although special requests are not guaranteed, as long as you register before the registration deadline we will make every effort to accommodate your request to play with a friend although the number of requests honored may be limited. Occasionally a large number of players will all request to play with the same friend. When this occurs, those requests may not be accommodated.
We do not accept requests to play for a particular coach. Under certain circumstances requests will not be honored in order to facilitate team equality.
Special requests on registrations received AFTER the registration deadline will NOT be accommodated.

Players trying out for a travel team or school team must register for the Broadview Heights Recreation league in order to be guaranteed placement on a team in the event they do not make the travel or school team. Maybe. It will depend on the number of registrations and the number of players that want to play on that team. We will try to do so but may add players to your team that do not have a team. If there are too many players that want on a team we may not be able to accommodate that.
