Council at Large Jennifer Mahnic


Jennifer Mahnic is currently serving her 6th term as an At-Large Councilwoman. She was first elected at the age of 27. Councilwoman Mahnic is a graduate of Trinity High School and the University of Cincinnati, where she earned her Master of Education and Bachelor of Science degrees. She grew up in Garfield Heights, Ohio, and is the daughter of Former State Representative and Vietnam Veteran Frank Mahnic Jr. and Elsa (Busetto) Mahnic. Jennifer is currently a Public School Teacher where she was honored as Teacher of the Year. She resides in Macintosh Farms with her husband, Keith Gaydosh, an environmental engineer, and her children, Gwen and Luke. After graduating from the University of Cincinnati Jennifer returned to the Cleveland area and purchased her first home in the New Hampton subdivision. Since becoming a resident of Broadview Heights, Jennifer has been very active in the community through their non-profit organizations. She has received numerous awards at the local and international levels for her volunteer and service work. She currently serves as Vice President of the Broadview Heights Lions Club. Jennifer is a parishioner of Assumption Church. During the current term on City Council, Jennifer serves on the Service and Safety Committee, Finance Committee, Growth Planning, and Zoning and is the Shade Tree Commission representative. Jennifer has also served as a Director of the Northeast Ohio City Council Association.
