The City of Broadview Heights, in conjunction with The Cuyahoga County Department of Public Works, is proposing to resurface Wallings Road (County Route 57) from Broadview Road to the east corporate limit of Broadview Heights (approximately 2.27 miles). The resurfacing work consists of pavement milling, partial and full depth base repairs and overlay with a new asphalt surface. Spot drainage, sidewalk and curb repairs will be completed, and all curb ramps will be upgraded to be Americans with Disability Act (ADA) compliant. All work will be completed within the existing transportation right‐ofway. Two‐way traffic will be maintained at all times through the use of flaggers. Flagging operations will be limited to off‐peak traffic periods. Access to properties adjacent the construction will be maintained to the greatest extent possible. Any restrictions to access will be coordinated with property owners in advance of the restriction being implemented. Construction is anticipated to begin the week of August 27, 2018. Written comments concerning the proposed project may be mailed to Gary Yelenosky P.E., City of Broadview Heights, 9543 Broadview Road, Broadview Heights, OH 44147.
