Ward 3 - George Stelmaschuk Council President Pro-Tem
George has been a Broadview Heights resident since 1989. He is a full-time Sales Engineer for ALLtra Corp., with 38 years of Sales, Marketing and Service experience in the metal fabrication sector. George's wife Gail is a retired BSN RN cardiac operating room nurse at the Cleveland Clinic main campus with 31 years of service. His daughter Stephanie is a Certified Nurse Practitioner at Cleveland Clinic Lutheran Hospital. His daughter Emily is a Captain in the US Air Force and a Certified Nurse Practitioner at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama.
George's previous local affiliations include the Broadview Heights Lions, BBH Schools Foundation, and Chippewa Creek and Furnace Run Watershed Community Planning Organization. George is an active member of Christ the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Brecksville. He has been the Ward 3 Councilman since 2005 and currently serves as Council President Pro-Tem and Chairman of the Finance Committee.
Prior council experience includes Chairman of the Service, Public Buildings/Building Codes and Rules, Ordinances and Franchise Committees; and member of the Human Services Advisory Board.
