Broadview Heights Parks & Recreation Department

The Broadview Heights Parks & Recreation Departments provides activities for residents of all ages.  From youth sports and aquatics programs to senior fitness, the Parks & Recreation Department is continually adding new and innovative programs to serve the residents of Broadview Heights.  For information about all our activities and programs visit us at the rec center located at 9543 Broadview Rd.



Support our youth basketball program by purchasing a personalized 3’ high x 3’ wide banner that 25,000+ participants, parents and community residents will see each time they enter the gymnasium.  These will be hung in the gymnasium from December through March.  Sponsorship funds will help to offset the costs associated with supporting over 500 participants.

New Sponsor Banner Cost $150:  Please email your response by 12/15/14.  Attach to your email a JPG or TIF file with your company logo and detail the banner layout.   Email to  Your banner will be 3’ high X 3’ wide and can include your logo, name and message.  Please remit checks payable to the City of Broadview Heights by 12/22/14.  

Halloween on the Heights
Join us on Saturday, October 18th for a fun filled family event featuring indoor trick-or-treating, costume competitions, carnival games, inflatables, food for sale, live DJ and more!  Event takes place at the Broadview Heights Recreation center from 1pm-5pm. 

Kids Garage Sale
Join us on Saturday, November 8th for our indoor Kids Garage Sale!  The event will be held from 9AM to Noon.  It will be held at the Broadview Heights Recreation Center at 9543 Broadview Road.  Cash Only/All Sales Are Final.  Infant/Children & Maternity Clothing, Baby Equipment & Accessories, and Toys.   Free Admission!!!  Tables for the event start at just $18.  Reserve your spot to sell today!

Water Safety Instructor Course
Class begins November 8th and runs until December 13th with no class on November 30th. This course trains candidates to teach all American Red Cross swimming and safety courses except Lifeguarding.  Participants will be trained in a hands on enviroment.  It is required that you be 16 years old by END of class.  Lifeguarding is not a prerequisite.  All classes are mandatory.  Cost covers books and American Red Cross fee.  Register online today.  For information please call Amanda at 440-717-4026.
